Not only did the contestants give some of their spookiest performances, but even the judges got into the holiday, dressing in their best costumes as they doled out healthy doses of praise and critique for each of the remaining nine couples. UPDATED : Peacock has given a straight-to-series order to a “ Friday the 13th ” prequel currently titled “Crystal Lake,” Variety has learned. Exact plot details are being kept under wraps, although it is described as an “expanded prequel.” The show will be written by Bryan Fuller , who is also the showrunner and an executive producer. Victor Miller, who penned the original film in the franchise, will also executive produce along with Marc Toberoff, Rob Barsamian, and A24. So she's not one of the, like, fancy, you know, really wealthy people, but she's still very unaware and self-involved ( laughs ). Because Mike likes exploring those kinds of people. But yeah, she's really not having a good time. She's really desperate. She has this, like, deep, stressful, and angsty desperation to have fulfillment in life. Off Broadway at the Shed, Ralph Fiennes is glorious in David Hare’s sputtering portrait of the man who paved New York. I doubt I’d have enjoyed meeting the real Robert Moses, New York’s paver of highways, evictor of minorities, eminent domain eminence and all-purpose boogeyman. But it’s a huge pleasure to meet him, in the form of Ralph Fiennes, in David Hare’s “ Straight Line Crazy ,” which opened on Wednesday at the Shed. Whether the creature Hare and Fiennes create has anything to do with the creature that created modern Gotham remains, for a while, an irrelevant question. Moses’ actual demeanor and utterance, as portrayed in the nearly 1,300 pages of Robert Caro’s biography “The Power Broker,” are little in evidence at the Hudson Yards theater. British radio broadcaster Tim Gough died at age 55 Monday after he experienced a medical emergency while on the air. Gough died "from a suspected heart attack " during an episode of his show on GenX Radio Suffolk, according to a press release from the station. He was pronounced dead just before 8 a.m. local time at his home in Lackford, Suffolk, per the release. "Tim was doing what he loved" when he died, the station said. "The entire GenX Radio family are shocked and devastated beyond words." "Tim was a hugely experienced and highly talented broadcaster with an army of fans for his daily show," GenX Radio Suffolk said. "He is a very sad loss to radio and the county of Suffolk." Gough's career began at Radio Orwell in 1986, according to The Guardian . MRC said Monday that it was not moving forward with its recently completed documentary about Kanye West , the news coming amid growing criticism of the rapper/entrepreneur’s recent anti-Semitic statements. “We cannot support any content that amplifies his platform,” MRC’s co-leaders Modi Wiczyk, Asif Satchu and Scott Tenley said in a statement. The latest move comes as more in Hollywood have been calling for companies to sever ties with West, who has been increasingly vocal about his views toward Jewish people.
