Megan recently sat down for an interview with Gayle King for CBS Mornings that will air Monday — and in an excerpt shared this morning, she directly addresses the incident.

Music megastar @theestallion sits down exclusively with @GayleKing for her first TV interview addressing the 2020 shooting allegedly involving rapper Tory Lanez, Monday on #CBSMornings. Tory Lanez pleaded not guilty to an assault charge related to the alleged shooting.

In the interview, Megan says that the events that led up to the incident began with an "argument" because "I was ready to go, and everybody else wasn't ready to go."

"But that's, like, normal friend stuff. ... We fuss about silly stuff all the time," she added.

After she got out of the car, Megan said, "Everything [happened] so fast."
