19 Things I'm Still Confused About After The "Euphoria" Season 2 Finale - BuzzFeed

Image
I'mma need Season 3 to open with a background episode on Laurie. 🚨MASSIVE SPOILERS AHEAD!!🚨 Last night, the Season 2 finale of Euphoria aired on HBO and, needless to say, we are still collectively recovering from the emotional roller coaster Sam Levinson put us through: Now, any fan of Euphoria would be the first to say that this season was...a little different from the first season, namely that there seemed to be a lot of randomly added characters and gaping plot holes big enough for Rue to run through: So, here are all the questions that need to be answered in Season 3 of Euphoria (hint — there are many): 1. For starters, let's address the elephant in the room: the murder of Ashtray at the hands of the police. Why was there a shootout when Ash is a minor and could have explained away his situation? HBO Max I understand not wanting to be separated from Fezco if Ash's arrest resulted in placing him in foster care or juvie,

The Batman review - is Robert Pattinson's Batman any good? - digitalspy.com

When it comes to a character as well known as Batman , it's tough to do something that's genuinely different to what's come before. So when the likes of Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson were promising that The Batman would be something "fresh and different", we took it with a pinch of salt because, at the end of the day, this is still Batman. However, we are happy to be proved very wrong in this instance. By avoiding the origin story and focusing on the "World's Greatest Detective" aspect, we're seeing a side of Batman that has never fully been explored on screen before. Throw in some heavy film-noir vibes and a richly-detailed Gotham (under)world, and Reeves has delivered an exhilarating spin on the character. Inevitably you'll be judging The Batman against other Batman movies, but not only is it a match for the strongest of those outings, it's also up there with the best comic-book movies overall. It's that good. And if th

Euphoria's Javon Walton Speaks Out After That Shocking Season 2 Finale - E! NEWS

"Man, I just hope he's alive," Javon told  Esquire . "Because I'm sure he didn't just get shot one time by taking cover in the bathtub and getting shot through the wall," adding, "You know that Fez needs Ash, and Ash needs Fez. They both really rely on each other, so it's going to be really hard for both of them." Javon expressed a similar sentiment to E! News, teasing that it's not 100 percent certain that his character is dead. "It's kind of left up in the air for now," he exclusively told E! News. "If there's one person that can survive being shot, it's definitely Ashtray. He's one badass kid." As for how long he knew about his dramatic season two ending? Javon shared with E! that creator Sam Levinson alerted him to the storyline edit "two days or a day before" filming. "He rewrote the script," he continued, "the whole thing of me in the bathtub, the crazy shootout, lik

‘Batman Returns’ Was the Peak of Grotesque Superhero Cinema - The Ringer

Image
Tim Burton’s second Batman film is nasty, hilarious, and most importantly, just barely PG-13 The Caped Crusader is back: On March 4, Robert Pattinson will become the seventh actor to don the cowl in a live-action film with The Batman . To prepare, join The Ringer this week as we navigate the grime of Gotham and explore the history of one of the most recognizable superheroes in the comic-book landscape. The grossest moment in Batman Returns is also the funniest. Unexpectedly gifted with an image consultant by a team of high-paid political handlers, sewer-dweller turned Gotham mayoral candidate Oswald Cobblepot absorbs some backhanded comments about his unpleasant appearance: “Not a lot of reflective surfaces down in the sewers.” Sizing up his glib new underling, the erstwhile Penguin growls jovially and replies, “It could be worse … my nose could be gushing blood.” Pause for laughter all around—and then he bites into the guy’s face, unleashing a gush of bright red across the sc
