Lata Mangeshkar's Demise: Kolhapure sisters- Padmini, Shivangi, Tejaswini- Bhagyashree, Javed Akhtar, Anu - Times of India
This morning, we woke up to the sad news that Lata Mangeshkar has left for her heavenly abode. The last rites will be performed with State honours around 6.30 pm at the Shivaji Park crematorium. Lataji's body was brought to her Prabhukunj residence at Peddar Road around 2 pm.
A source from there, tells ETimes, "It's a tearful farewell to the Queen of Melody. Lata Mangeshkar will never die."
PM Narendra Modi is expected to be present at the last rites ceremony.

The Kolhapure sisters- Padmini, Shivangi and Tejaswini- were all there at Lataji's home when the body arrived. Being a part of Lataji's family and having immense love and respect for her, Padmini, Shivangi and Tejaswini were there since nearly 11 am.
